Learn more about some of the most important American design icons of the 20th century by traveling back in time to the USSR during the 1960s and 1980s with journalist Artem Dezhurko. Uncovering the story behind the innovative design that emerged from this period in post-war Russia, Dezhurko analyzes the evolution of the creative process that transformed everyday objects into well-known symbols of new age technology.

Artem Dezhurko is a journalist for Interior+Design, ARX, DOMUS (Russian edition) and INTERNI (Russian edition); contributor to Classics Project, Made in Future, and SPeeCH, as well as archi.ru and the Great Russian Encyclopedia; consultant for Quality Label: Soviet Design Achievements (Etazhi, Saint Petersburg, 2011) and curator of Soviet Apartment Morphology (Arch Moscow, 2011).
