Christian Boltanski is a French artist, who represented France during the 54th Venice Art Biennale this year. The documentary was filmed in Japan, Paris and Berlin and includes interviews with the artist himself, his commentaries about his works, parts of other documentaries as well as a detailed story about one of Boltanski's most ambitious projects– Les Archive du Coeur, which he started working on in 2008.
