The film traces the Beats from Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac's meeting in
1944 at Columbia University to the deaths of Ginsberg and William S. Burroughs
in 1997. Their works are read by Johnny Depp, John Turturro, Denis Hopper,
commented by the writer Ken Kesey, musician Jerry Garcia, composer Philip
Glass. The sound-track is written by Bob Dylan. |
