In 1964 Film Culture magazine chose Andy Warhol for its annual Independent Film
award. But Warhol didn't want a public presentation. So filmmaker Jonas Mekas
decided to make a film on the Warhol’s Fabric. Later the film was shown on the
presentation though Andy Warhol was absent. The film starred Warhol’s friends.
The Supremes music was used for the film.

Jonas Mekas is known for his rapid-fire diary films. In this
1990 production Mekas chronicles not only the great pop artist, Andy Warhol,
but also the social and cultural excitement that swirled around him.
