Join expert Maria Kravtsova as she discusses how fashion and art collided in the 1930s. She will examine fashion’s connection to the Surrealists and the importance of the Elsa Schiaparelli House. But also, influential artists such as Meret Oppenheim, Jean Cocteau and Salvador Dali not just delved into fashion and design, but also created illustrations and photographs for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Femina. Learn how designers such as Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Alexander McQueen and Sonya Rykiel were influenced by the Surrealists over 60 years later.
