Performance in modern dance

Over the past 100 years, modern dance has become a diverse and varied form of contemporary performing art. This lecture is devoted to the specificity of performance, as a peculiar type of modern dance.

Roman Arndt, teacher, researcher of modern dance. Arndt studied at the National Ballet School in Bitom (Poland). He left a dance career and began to study the psychology, the theory and the history of dance. Now he teaches at the Folkwang-Hohshuler dance school in Essen (Germany) and at the Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Krakow at the Department of theatre dance.
