Contemporary art, in contrast to traditional art seemingly dissociates itself
from the concept of beauty, and today beauty is most often found in examples of
mass culture. As modern art becomes ever more dependent on the market, the
rehabilitation of beauty is becoming more pertinent. Aronson explores the idea
of beauty – the aesthetics and the economics and the boundaries of art.
